For us at FreshPack sustainability is not just a buzzword in marketing to look good or attract customers. We love, live, and drive sustainability in all its manners. It is the basis on which we want to improve the culinary habits among the population in a more fresh and healthy way. Sustainability takes place in all operations of our business: Procurement, processing, order fulfillment and returns.
- Procurement: All our suppliers are selected very carefully to ensure the highest quality of our products and sustainability already in the very beginning of the supply chain. They have to show their production process and hand in quality certificates on a regular basis. Further, we try our best to fit the order of ingredients to the demand of our customer to have minimum waste of food.
- Social Sustainability: If we ordered too much from our suppliers, we will not throw it away. Everything that is spare will be directly given to the food bank to help people in need. Please, if you do not like your food or have something left, do the same and support your local food bank!
- Processing: The way we process your orders and put together the ingredients of the package you ordered fulfills the highest standards. We take care of an uninterrupted cool chain and keep our ingredients fresh. We don’t use any plastic in our packaging but only biodegradable and recyclable materials.
- Order Fulfillment: Your order is fulfilled and delivered with the highest standards of quality and sustainability. We plan the delivery on a daily basis to serve as many customers as possible in the same run. Our cooled delivery cars are working with electricity while the recharging stations work with solar power.
