ABOUT FRESHPACK
WHO WE ARE
In Toronto in October 2015, we, two young students, created the idea of a digital business within the online food retailing market. This was the hour of birth of FreshPack, a delivery service of fresh food boxes with varied recipes and corresponding healthy ingredients.
The business venture was established due to the conflict that people with a busy schedule usually do not have the time capacity to think about the daily cooking and to visit the local grocery store in order to buy all necessary ingredients. Therefore many people fall back on common unhealthy fast food. So we wanted to establish the opportunity to integrate a healthy and balanced nutrition into a hectic daily life.
In our early stage of our business we have sourced already local and reliable food ingredients suppliers, placed advertisement as well as commercials and have registered around 2,500 subscriptions took out by our first customers. Due to a limited capacity we would like to upscale our business by finding interested investors.

THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS
We offer a wide range of international cooking recipes with the corresponding food ingredients. The customer can choose between several subscription models and the subscription duration (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual) and will receive a weekly food box.
Pre-built models cover recipes from one country of origin or a special category of food for instance pasta. Themed models are a special combination of cooking recipes in terms of certain occasion or seasonal specialties. The customer has the opportunity to exclude optionally certain ingredients so that some recipes will not be delivered.
Additionally we provide the opportunity to build an own subscription model to suit the customer’s taste to the full extent.
OUR TEAM
We, Gerrit Egbers, Steffen Harms, Jose Dominguez and Fynn-Hendrik Kühl, are studying an international degree program of business administration and industrial engineering in Bremen, Germany.
We have gathered first years of work experience as industrial clerks in international oriented companies within the mechanical engineering industry.
We share a fascination for a healthy lifestyle consisting of doing sports and a well-balanced nutrition. Moreover a collective interest in different cultures with their culinary specialties from all over the world it is no wonder that we created such idea of a digital business in the online food retailing market.
